Our agency acts as a middleman, ensuring a seamless and trustworthy process for the nannies and host families. We charge a placement fee to both parties for background checks and administrative support (e.g., visas, and Flights). YoungOnes aims to foster cultural exchange, deliver reliable childcare, and ease the burden on busy families by providing young and fun childcare.

Your role as a Nanny/Aupair
As an au pair, you'll be a big sibling to your host family's children, providing care, support, and a positive influence. Taking on responsibilities which may include:
Childcare Duties:
School pick-up and drop-off.
Preparing meals for the children.
Assisting with bedtime routines, including bathing and settling in.
Organizing fun outings and activities.
Helping with childrens homework
Light Housework:
Keeping children’s rooms and play areas tidy and presentable.
Assisting with children’s laundry.
Flexibility:
Being available for morning routines, evening care, and occasional babysitting.
A commitment of 1 year (optional 2nd year)

What the family offers: Earn a weekly allowance, enjoy free accommodation, and receive meals with your host family.
Placement Periods: We take two placements yearly, one in the summer - December/January and one in the Winter - June/July. However, this can possibly be flexible, depending on applicants’ and families circumstances.
Fees
When travelling to the UK and wanting the experience of working and living there, you must apply for a visa if you are not a citizen. This visa is called the Youth Mobility Scheme if you are between the ages 18 - 30, costing approximately $3500. Plus flights that vary depending on dates.
For us to provide you with the best service possible there is a fee for placing Nanny/Aupairs with families.
